Co-op Customer Lead Program
The Wisconsin Department of Tourism (The Department), through the
co-op labels program, will assist Wisconsin travel-industry-related businesses
and destinations in conducting targeted marketing campaigns to efficiently and
effectively promote tourism.
The Department will assist industry partners by providing to them
names and addresses of potential travel customers who have requested
publications through Department fulfillment channels. The names will be provided
in an electronic file format.
These names will be provided in a confidential manner for a
one-time use only. Users will sign a List Rental Agreement. This agreement
outlines the specific terms and conditions of use of the names. Only after the
Department's designated agent has received a signed copy of the List Rental
Agreement will the names and addresses be released. The Department will maintain copies of all List Rental Agreements executed
which include the name, title, date, phone number and E-mail address of each
industry partner who has purchased Department names.
The List Rental Agreement will acknowledge that the use of the
list will be monitored by various means, including the use of decoy names to
ensure compliance with the one-time use rule. In the event of a violation, the
user will not be allowed further participation in the program and will be
assessed liquidated damages.
A fee will be charged for use of the Department's names, currently
$10 per thousand, and will be billed through the Wisconsin Department of
Tourism.
The primary markets from which names are available are the Chicago
area, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Wisconsin and Iowa, but may include names from other
markets. These names can be categorized by zip code, by publication requested
and by the month of contact.
