Co-op Email Program - Packages and Deals Admail

Download a printer-friendly version of the program details and guidelines

The Packages & Deals Admail will be sent to subscribers who have opted-in to receive these monthly updates. Initially, one Package & Deals Admail will be sent out each month around the 15th (for example, the deadline for a July admail is June 1, with the message scheduled to be delivered around June 15).

Each admail will contain nine industry offers. Due to the limited space, an individual advertiser may only advertise in four admails a year.

What Your Ad Includes:

  • Picture of your property (image must be 97 x 68 pixels wide and in JPG, or GIF format)
  • City
  • Package Headline (Limit - Two lines, 24 characters per line)
  • Package/Deal Sub-heading (Limit - Two lines, 38 characters per line)
  • Package/Deal Description (Limit - 210 characters)
  • A website link (to your site where they can learn more about the offer and purchase)

You’ll submit your listing information and photo when reserving your ad space online. Please have your information and photo collected to these specifications before completing the online order form.

We encourage you to sign up early for the four months you would like to advertise in. If you would like to sign up for additional months, you will be put on a waiting list and your ad will run on a space available basis. We want to offer our email subscribers a variety of offers and locations throughout the state from month to month.

Please Note the Following:

  • Due to the limited number of available ad spaces, you will submit a request to participate and placement is not guaranteed until you have confirmation of your order status from Josh Hertzog at Boelter + Lincoln. Once your order has been confirmed, you are required to prepay. Your prepayment (check made out to Boelter + Lincoln) is due prior to the first of the month you chose to advertise. After the six month prepayment period, you will be billed on a monthly basis by Boelter + Lincoln.
  • To maintain the credibility and value of the exclusive packages and deals email, and for the benefit of customers and advertisers alike, we strongly encourage you to offer significant, compelling and/or limited-time-only incentives. While 50% discounts aren't required, offering the reader something of true value that they can't find just anywhere will only improve your ad's performance and, ultimately, your chances of converting these readers to visitors. If you cannot calculate a 'savings' figure, we strongly suggest your headline and copy detail exactly why the offer is worth checking out.
  • Space and materials deadline is the first of the month you would like your advertisement to run. For example, the deadline for a July admail is June 1, with the message scheduled to be delivered around June 15.
  • Approximately two weeks after your ad runs, you will receive a report, which will include a delivery, click through rate and open rate. Again, we encourage you to offer enticing exclusive packages and deals, as this will ultimately increase the number of subscribers that will seek out more information on your website.
  • The Department of Tourism reserves the right to review submitted events and/or packages and deals for content. The Department of Tourism has final editorial approval and placement control on all submissions.
  • Please follow these guidelines when entering your headline and description text:
    • No use of abbreviations
    • No use of ALL CAPS, unless using an acronym or other branded initials (e.g. "CVB" or "VCB")
    • No use of exclamation points
    • No use of ampersands (&) in the description field
